History of Faculty Research Awards
In addition to nurturing larger scale cross-School research efforts, MBB has also awarded seed grants to promising interdisciplinary research projects of faculty members across Harvard University. Several recipients report using the results of their MBB supported projects to secure funding from more traditional sources. Also, between 1997 and 2000, MBB supported several interdisciplinary research projects with funding from a gift by Gordon and Llura Gund.
