In recent decades, the study of consciousness has been pushed to the forefront of scientific investigation. Because of its importance, it provides a unique opportunity for an integrative approach to the study of mind, brain, and behavior. In this course, we will discuss the philosophical debates, the psychological phenomena, and the relevant neurophysiological findings. Prerequisite: Science of Living Systems 20 or its predecessors and either MCB 80 or Psychology 14 Cognitive Neuroscience. (catalog # 17059)
