## For Faculty

The Mind Brain Behavior Interfaculty Initiative (MBB) fosters interdisciplinary dialogue in
research and education via funding mechanisms and academic offerings.

If you are a Harvard University faculty member interested in MBB, please sign up for our faculty
mailing list!

## Get involved in undergraduate education

 ### Teach a Course

Harvard offers many courses addressing topics and approaches in the study of mind, brain, and behavior. MBB offers interdisciplinary seminars and a term-time independent research course. If you are interested in learning more about and potentially developing a new MBB seminar, contact [Shawn Harriman](/people/shawn-harriman "Shawn Harriman").

[Seminars](/seminars "Seminars")

 ### Organize a Symposium

MBB undergraduates attend a required symposium in their junior year, which offers students a chance to investigate how creative new research possibilities may emerge at the frontiers of the different fields concerned with mind, brain, and behavior. Each symposium explores a topic that currently engages a broad range of mind brain behavior researchers. If you are interested in learning more about and potentially organizing an undergraduate symposium, contact [Shawn Harriman](/people/shawn-harriman "Shawn Harriman").

 ### Recruit a Research Assistant

Most MBB undergraduates are involved in research and culminate their studies in a thesis project. If you have an undergraduate research opportunity and wish to post a paid or unpaid research assistant position:

## Refer trainees to MBB resources

MBB Interdisciplinary Mind Grants are available to graduate students and postdoctoral trainees doing interdisciplinary work between MBB fields.
