In this course, we will study how genetic and neural pathways direct males and females to act the way they do. We will cover topics such as fighting flies, testosterone-promoted male behavior, same-sex sexual partners, and more. In the last weeks, we will also discuss the way sex research is covered by the media and its social implications. Prerequisite: LPSA/LS 1a, MCB 80 and permission of the instructor.
