# Research Assistant Position: Impact of Psychological Trauma on Mental Health Research Assistant Position: Impact of Psychological Trauma on Mental Health Prof. Diane Joss, Center for Mindfulness and Compassion, Harvard Medical School and Cambridge Health Alliance Fall 2026 Our lab focuses on studying the impact of childhood trauma and lifetime trauma on mental health across various populations, as well as the psychological and neural mechanisms of behavioral interventions for trauma-related disorders. Currently we have one ongoing research study that specifically investigates psychological trauma among meditation teachers and psychotherapists. **Responsibilities:** Depending on the RA's skill set and interest, the RA's responsibility could include any of the following: research coordination with research participants and the rest of the research team, qualitative data analysis, quantitative data analysis, and scientific writing. **Requirements and Expectations:** This position is unpaid volunteer position, *100% remote* virtual online, flexible hours. **To Apply:** Please send your CV to Professor Diane Joss at .
