Are you looking to gain psychological research experience? There are two openings for full-time research assistants in the lab of Dr. Anne Fernandez at the University of Michigan available. **Responsibilities**: The primary role will be to recruit and manage participants and conduct assessment for multiple research studies focused on alcohol use and alcohol use reduction. A significant portion of the work will be focused on participant recruitment for a clinical trial of alcohol use treatments delivered before and after surgery for the Alcohol Screening and Preoperative Intervention Research (ASPIRE-2) Study. Other studies include recruitment and assessment of study participants to validate cutting edge data-science driven alcohol-use screening approaches. The research assistant will play a role in, participant recruitment, participant retention, conducting assessments, as well as other research-related tasks.). Additionally, there are opportunities to gain a range of research skills based on your interests/goals (e.g., data management and analysis, conducting literature reviews, scientific writing and publishing, working as part of a team). **Qualifications**: Positions require a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and direct or educational experience of social science or health research, particularly with human subjects. The candidate should be comfortable interacting with participants with alcohol use disorders (AUD). **Additional Information**: The research assistants will work with the principal investigator, study coordinator, and other members of the research teams at the University of Michigan.
