BrainMind is hiring a team of motivated students to join our national Advanced Special Projects Team. BrainMind is a non-profit bringing together the top scientists, entrepreneurs, investors, and philanthropists to accelerate impactful innovation within the science of the brain and mind. This distinguished team brings together the brightest students from across the United States to generate the growth, development, and impact of several leading social ventures in neurotechnology, neuroethics, and impact investing. The internship is designed to help students to realize their leadership potential as future social entrepreneurs and business leaders in science and technology. Opportunities include (1) learn how startups and social ventures are created in STEM fields; (2) develop your network and build powerful mentors; (3) cultivate business communications skills; (4) create a product or nonprofit and learn how to get funding for your ideas; (5) design professional-grade educational programming for scientific events; and (6) get involved in research-backed projects on the neuroscience of meditation, consciousness, stress relief, and wellness. Specific Benefits include (1) a 12-week curriculum focused on preparing you to become a successful entrepreneur and/or maximize your career in STEM-related fields; (2) personal development projects such as outreach to prospective mentors, conscious leadership exercises, career path exploration, and self-authored 5-year life planning; (3) intimate mentorship and Q and A sessions with leading entrepreneurs, clinicians, and investors in neurotechnology and beyond ; and (4) good-natured team competitions with silly prizes. Additional Information: Full-time internship available for the summer. Compensation available through the federal work­ study program for qualifying students or through school-funded nonprofit scholarship programming where available. Students will base themselves in Cambridge/Boston or Stanford area for in-person meetings and team will also have daily video conference check-ins. BrainMind website is at
