Research Assistant Position: Neuroscience and Functional Brain Imaging

A full-time research assistant (RA) position is available at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. This RA will work under the supervision of Dr. Jingyuan Chen to assist with multi-modal neuroimaging studies in the lab. Ongoing projects include integrating fMRI with simultaneous EEG and dynamic PET imaging to probe the energetic and neuromodulatory factors underlying the brain functional connectome, and the modulations enacted by healthy Aging or Schizophrenia. Responsibilities: The RA will be responsible for managing study protocols, performing imaging experiments and data analysis, and disseminating study findings (including potential conference presentations and journal publications). Requirements: Skilled in MATLAB or Python programming; knowledge of basic linear algebra, signal processing; experience with machine learning is desired but not required. Other Information: The RA will have ample opportunities to interact with the broad research community at the Martinos Center and have access to center-wide neuroimaging webinars. This is a paid position, and is ideally suited for students who intend to pursue medical/graduate training in neuroscience and medical imaging.
