Research Assistant Position: Representational Structure of Episodic Memory and Imagination

The Schacter Memory Lab researches episodic memory and imagination, their role in human cognition, as well as their development throughout the life span. This project is part of an effort to understand the structure of episodic representations – their different elements as well as how and when people represent these elements when they generate episodic memories and imaginations.Responsibilities: The RA will be responsible for participant recruitment and data collection for a two-part, in-person study. Depending on the RAs experience, capacities, and interests, they could also be involved in data analysis, and developing a project of their own.Requirements and Expectations: The ideal candidate will have some experience in participants recruitment and running behavioral psychology experiments. The expected workload is ca. 10 hours/week. Additional Information: Depending on the needs of the RA the position could be paid and course credit could be offered (depending on the course).
