Neurable is seeking a part time Research Intern (Winter/Spring) to help us accelerate innovations in the field of brain-computer interfaces starting as soon as February 2020 and ending May 2020, with the possibility of extending into the summer. Responsibilities: Responsibilities for this position include experiment setup, execution, and data collection. What you will do and learn: (1) perform routine experiments in Neurable’s lab or in partnership with partner companies; (2) follow study protocol and report feedback on the process; (3) record data, summarize, and analyze results; (4) maintain experimental instruments and evaluate new technology; and (5) discuss progress of work regularly with supervisor. Requirements and Expectations: Ideal candidates are passionate about neurotechnology and motivated to contribute to advancements in human-computer interaction. About you: (1) highly organized, detail oriented, and communicate proactively without close supervision; (2) strong verbal and written communication skills; (3) fast learner with initiative and willingness to learn new things, test new techniques, and experiment; and (4) self-motivated problem solver. The ideal candidate will have (1) basic understanding of behavioral research; (2) familiarity neuroimaging techniques (EEG/EMG/ECoG/fNIRS/MRI); and (3) some experience with Python.
