The Sens Research Foundation's Gap-Year Program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to conduct biomedical research to combat diseases of aging, such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. The program seeks to prepare participants for a career in regenerative medicine through an intensive mentored research experience and communication skill development exercises, such as a mock grant proposal and research presentations. In addition, the gap-year program is designed to accommodate time for applications and interviews during the research fellowship. Additional Information: These paid positions are available at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, Harvard Medical School, the Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine, the SRF Research Center, Stanford University, Turn Biotechnologies, and Underdog Pharmaceuticals.
