Many daily tasks, such as taking lecture notes, require us to quickly store information and then recall it within seconds to minutes. This seminar will explore the neural basis of such working memory and how it differs computationally and neurally from more long-term memory. Prerequisites: LPSA/LS 1a, MCB 80 and permission of the instructor. Enrollment limited to 12. (catalog # 15731)
