Research on human and non-human primate developmental trajectories has grown exponentially among numerous disciplines including evolutionary anthropology, psychobiology, nutrition, behavioral biology, and neuroscience. The seminar will cover the mechanisms, function, and evolution of human and non-human primate development from conception through pregnancy and lactation. Areas of development to be included will be somatic growth, immunology, behavioral/social interactions, neurobiology/cognition/learning, and metabolic processes. (catalog # 93737)
