MBB Postdoctoral Fellow

Jennifer Leestma, one of three current MBB Postdoctoral Fellows, was awarded a two-year MBB Fellowship in July 2025. She is advised by Shriya Srinivasan in SEAS and co-mentored by Matthew Carty of HMS and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Her MBB project explores whether reconstructive surgical approaches can be used to create new neural pathways for controlling assistive technologies.
